Architectural Historian

The Architectural History section researches and documents the buildings and structures of key importance to Seminole heritage—both on and off reservation.  The section utilizes both fieldwork and library research to assess buildings based upon Tribal standards and National Register of Historic Places guidelines.  The section conducts both reconnaissance and in-depth surveys of individual buildings and building districts, writes architectural reports, and prepares National Register nominations for eligible buildings.
